The short version
Lil Labr turns web pages into editable Figma layers. Use it for pages and content you are allowed to use. Captures are saved on Lil Labr’s servers for 7 days so the Figma plugin can import them, and you can turn that off. Lil Labr is free and comes without guarantees. How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
By ticking “I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms” in Lil Labr, or by using Lil Labr, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lil Labr.
What Lil Labr is
Lil Labr is a Chrome extension and a Figma plugin. The extension captures a web page you choose (the whole page, what is on screen, or one element) and copies it so you can paste it into Figma as layers. The plugin imports saved captures into a Figma file. “Lil Labr”, “we” and “us” mean Lil Labr and its developer.
A capture is a copy of what the page shows: its text, images, styles and layout, and what is typed into its visible fields (password fields are masked). It may not match the original exactly. You keep whatever rights you have in what you capture; we use your captures only to run Lil Labr for you.
Capture only what you may use
- Capture pages and content that you own, or that you have permission or another legal right to copy and use. Designs, images, text, logos and trademarks on other people’s sites usually belong to them.
- Follow the terms of the sites you capture and the law where you are.
- Do not capture other people’s private or personal information unless you have the right to.
- Do not use Lil Labr to break the law, to harm anyone, or to get around a site’s paywall, login or other access controls.
- Do not attack, overload or misuse Lil Labr’s servers, try to reach anyone else’s captures, or get around limits Lil Labr sets.
You are responsible for what you capture and what you do with it. We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Your Google account
Capturing never needs a sign-in. Signing in with Google is optional: it keeps your progress across browsers, and you need it before you can use Claude or ChatGPT with Lil Labr. Your Lil Labr account is tied to that Google account, so keep it secure.
You can sign out in the panel’s Settings, under Account. To delete your Lil Labr account, email us from the address on the account.
How long captures are kept
While Save captures is on (in the panel’s Settings), each capture is saved on Lil Labr’s servers for 7 days so the Figma plugin can import it, and is then deleted. With Save captures off, captures stay on your computer. A file you download and the layers you paste or import into Figma are yours to keep; we do not delete them.
Lil Labr is not a backup. Keep your own copy of anything you need.
AI apps and agents
With the optional AI connector link, once you are signed in, you can connect AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT to Lil Labr. A connected app can ask Lil Labr to capture a page, and Lil Labr asks for your Allow in Chrome before it captures a website for that app. AI agents running in your browser can start a capture while the Lil Labr panel is open. You can pause, reset or turn off that connector link in Settings.
You are responsible for what you ask an AI app or agent to capture. What an AI app does with a capture is up to that app, under its provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
Saved captures in AI apps
Where the optional account-connected Lil Labr plugin is available, you can approve a supported AI app through your signed-in Lil Labr account and give it capture or flow references from your account. The dashboard at app.lillabr.com provides account sign-in, saved captures, settings and connection consent where enabled; the compatible Chrome extension retains its earlier consent route. The app receives account-level permission to read saved captures by reference; approval is not a separate permission for each capture ID. Browser capture and source-website editing are not provided by this plugin. Its availability depends on the account and host connection; these terms do not establish a marketplace listing or approval.
You may separately approve Browse saved captures permission to show your saved capture metadata and stored preview thumbnails in an embedded gallery, then choose a reference for the chat. The authorization request names both captures:read and captures:browse. Existing reference-only connections do not gain browsing through an update or token refresh; the additional permission needs a new authorization. Gallery thumbnails may contain visible page content, and the AI host handles that interface data under its own terms and privacy policy. Opening the gallery does not read every full archive; the selected reference can then be opened with the reader tools.
Share only content you may give to that app and its connected tools. A reference does not grant rights to the underlying website, images or fonts. Follow their applicable terms and licenses. Font files are available only when embedded; otherwise the plugin can supply recorded font metadata and source URLs.
The plugin reads captures already saved by Save captures, with the existing limits of 7 days and the newest 50 captures. It does not store another capture copy or extend that lifetime. Original archive download links last at most 5 minutes, bounded by the capture’s remaining lifetime, and can remain usable until expiry after the app’s authorization is revoked. Removing the integration in an AI host does not guarantee revocation unless the host calls the revocation endpoint. Copies already provided to another app or tool remain subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
Lil Labr supplies saved reference material and available assets. Creating images, running prototypes or writing Figma files requires separately connected tools and is governed by their providers’ terms. Captures may have missing resources or unsupported details; generated work may need adjustment and comparison to the captured state. Lil Labr does not guarantee an exact pixel-for-pixel match.
The plugin is free and processes no payments or purchases. Separately connected services may have their own fees; Lil Labr does not include their access or charges. The Privacy Policy describes the account connection, token lifetimes and data handling. For questions, use the contact address below.
Feedback and usage analytics
Lil Labr sends usage analytics with a random ID that is not linked to your account: which Lil Labr actions you use and whether they worked, never the content or address of the pages you capture. If you answer the short survey Lil Labr may show you, we keep your scores and what you wrote for 12 months, without your account or email address, and use it to improve Lil Labr. Please do not put personal information in it.
The Privacy Policy describes both in full, including how to object to analytics.
No warranty
Lil Labr is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always work, be available or be free of errors, that a capture will look exactly like the page, or that a capture will import into Figma. We may change, pause or stop any part of Lil Labr.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or for what you capture and how you use it. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with Lil Labr is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits; where they do not, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. For a change that matters, we will say so on this page and, where we can, in Lil Labr before it takes effect. If you keep using Lil Labr after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it and remove the extension and the plugin.
