From a browser page to Figma layers.
Lillabr has a Chrome extension for capture and a Figma plugin for opening saved captures or importing synced ones. Both products are available from their official stores. This guide describes the current build.
1. Capture in Chrome
After installing the extension, open an ordinary web page and use the Lillabr bar to capture the visible viewport or full loaded page. Choose the picker to capture one element. The toolbar and shortcuts can start captures too. Chrome blocks extensions on its own pages and on the Chrome Web Store.
For web apps and feeds, start with a viewport capture. A full-page capture gives lazy images a chance to load, but content that only exists while visible may still be missing.
2. Use a local handoff
For direct paste, switch to a Figma Design file after capture and paste from your system clipboard. You can also choose Save .labr in Chrome, open Lillabr Import in Figma, and drop the saved file into its panel. Local file import works without pairing or a Lillabr sync upload.
Review the result before using it. Text, images, vectors, and layout are editable when supported. Fonts, blocked assets, iframes, and complex app layouts may need a new capture or manual adjustment.
3. Optional: Send to Figma
If you choose to enable Send to Figma in the Chrome bar, read its upload notice first. Each successful capture then sends the complete .labr archive, page thumbnail, and listing details to the selected sync server. The developer operates the default Supabase service and can read content sent there. Do not sync a page you would not share with that operator.
- Turn on Send to Figma in Chrome, then choose Connect Figma to get a one-time code.
- Open Lillabr Import in Figma and enter that code under From your browser.
- Choose a synced capture or flow to import into your Figma file.
The code lasts ten minutes and can be used once. Synced captures are retained for about seven days and collected on a later sync request. See the privacy policy for the exact storage, deletion, and pairing behavior.
