Bring screens and flows you saved with Lil Labr into your chat. Choose your references, then brainstorm images, build a prototype or work on a Figma design with their real assets and measurements.

One account. Your saved captures.

Capture a screen or a flow with the Lil Labr Chrome extension. In the panel’s Settings, turn on Save captures and sign in with Google. Open the dashboard with that same Google account to see the captures saved to your account.

Open your dashboard

The dashboard handles sign-in, your capture library and connected experiences. Once your account has been linked through Chrome, you can sign in and approve ChatGPT there without keeping the extension open.

Connect once in ChatGPT.

Open ChatGPT’s apps or plugins settings. If you already have the private Lil Labr plugin, open its connection. Otherwise, choose Add custom MCP server where your account offers it.
Name the connection lillabr, use the server address below, and choose OAuth authentication.
Sign in on app.lillabr.com with the same Google account you use in Chrome. Read the consent and approve browsing your saved capture previews if you want the gallery.
Select Lil Labr in a new chat. If an existing connection still lists older tools, use Refresh on that connection before starting the chat.

You can manage and revoke Lil Labr connections in dashboard Settings. The same server can be connected to another app that supports remote MCP with OAuth; the embedded gallery depends on that app’s support for interactive tools.

Choose the references for this chat.

Ask “Show my saved captures.” Lil Labr opens a grid of your saved capture previews.
Select one or more cards, then click Use selected.
Wait for Ready. Your chosen references have been verified and the selection has been sent to the chat.

Ready means your references are ready to work with. Give ChatGPT the task you want next. It reads the selected captures’ layers and assets as needed for that task. Ready does not mean an image, prototype or Figma file has already been created.

For a specific capture or flow, you can also copy its reference from the dashboard library into your chat. Keep Lil Labr selected so ChatGPT can open it.

Explore an image direction

Work in Figma

“Use the connected Figma tools to recreate this screen as editable layers, then explore a clearer navigation.”

Improve a flow

“Review the selected flow, identify the confusing steps, and propose alternatives using these screens as references.”

Lil Labr supplies the capture, real images, available fonts, colors, layer geometry and metadata. Creation uses the tools available in your chat. Product Design, Creative Production and Figma are separate connections or plugins you may choose to use alongside Lil Labr. Review the output against the source capture, especially when the capture reports missing assets or fonts.

Get connected again.

Your library is empty: check that Chrome and the dashboard use the same Google account. In Chrome, sign in under Settings → Account, turn on Save captures, and save a new capture. A capture ready only on this computer has not reached your account yet.
ChatGPT can open a reference but cannot browse: Refresh the Lil Labr connection. Reconnect and approve browsing saved previews, then select Lil Labr in a new chat.
A selected capture is unavailable: check it in the dashboard. Save it again if it was never uploaded; make a fresh capture if the saved copy expired. Local downloads remain yours.
Use selected does not finish: read the status under the button and try again once the connection is restored. Send support the message and your extension version; leave tokens and private captures out of your first message.

Choose what you share.

Browsing permission shows your own saved capture previews. The selection names the references you want to use in this chat; ChatGPT reads their content when it calls Lil Labr’s capture tools. A capture can include information you were signed in to see, so choose references you intend to share with the connected app.

Saved captures are kept for 7 days, with the newest 50 captures retained per workspace. Download an original .labr file if you want to keep it. Signing out of the dashboard ends that browser session; revoke a ChatGPT connection separately in dashboard Settings.
